The SPN Lingo: Supernatural Dictionary

This is a little project that I am going to work on through out the posting of this blog, along with several others, with the help of outside sources. A kind of Supernatural Dictionary, so to speak. There's a lot of terms and lingo that I see that even I don't understand so I'm sure there are also a few others out there left in the dark. I'm going to start with the basics.

YED
-abbreviation
Yellow-Eyed Demon

Gank/Ganked
-verb
kill/killed. To kill without mercy.

Deanism
-noun
1. an expression used by Dean Winchester whose meaning is not predictable from the usual meanings of its constituent elements.
2. words, phrases/quotes used by Dean Winchester from the TV show supernatural 

Yahtzee
-Deanism
used in place of the term 'affirmative' or 'bingo.'

Idjit
-noun
"A term of endearment used by Bobby when he talks to Sam and Dean."

Bitch
-noun
the term of affection that Dean Winchester has given to his brother Sam

Jerk
-noun
the term of affection that Sam Winchester has given to his brother Dean

Ipecac
-verb
Term used by fans to describe Sam's psychic ability to exorcise demons. 

Bitchface (my favorite)
Term coined to describe the classic Sam expression when dealing with the idiocy of Dean.
i.e. bitch-face 1, bitch-face 2

Metallicar
-noun
A name given to Dean’s precious inherited Classic 1967 Chevy Impala.

Wee!Chester
used to identify the boys when they are children. Often used in fanfiction.

Teen!Chester
used to identify the boys when they're in their teens. Often used in fanfiction.
